A Pear for the Wizard
Emma ran across the field past several horses, struggling to keep her breath while the horses took little notice of her. She was focused on her five-year-old nephew walking to the woods ahead. She called his name repeatedly, but he didn't look back.

White Wedding Dresses Do NOT Signify Virginity
"She shouldn't be wearing white to her wedding" is something a rude person might say about a non-virgin bride. Some women even joke about how they themselves shouldn't being wearing white. However, while many women today wear the color merely out of tradition, it is a myth that the color white has always meant virginity. It was originally meant to showcase wealth, but has transformed into the misconception of a long tradition of "purity". In reality, the reason people wear white gowns began with a queen who lived almost two centuries ago.

Please, Just Stop Ogling at My BreastsTop Story - March 2021
My complicated relationship with my breasts started in the sixth grade. They started developing two years prior, but it was at this time when I truly began to notice the attention they gave me. I hated having large breasts. Whenever a friend commented how large they were, I would grow defensive and say they were indeed not big. In hindsight, this seems ridiculous, but most of my peers had small ones, and I, like many preteens, was not one to be the odd one out.

2021: The Year of Overcoming Self-Doubt
There is a type of therapy called Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing (EDMR). It involves a therapist using typically a finger to guide a patient's eyes side to side rapidly while the patient focuses on a disturbing memory. The theory behind EDMR is that patients can separate certain memories from the negative emotions entwined with them and then be able to process the memories without feeling distressed. The separation comes from patients being distracted by their own rapid eye movements while they recall these memories.

Creating My Playlist: Inspired by Hulu’s High Fidelity
Like many, during these months in Covid-19, I have been binge-watching many shows (although let’s be real, that was my life before the pandemic). Back in early March, I watched Hulu’s High Fidelity. In this series, main character Rob (played by Zoe Kravitz) owns a record store and obsesses over music. Along with having an encyclopedic knowledge of pretty much any music genre, Rob likes to make playlists. She believes that each playlist has to tell a story through the music.
