Photography for All!
Photography started out as a simple hobby for me years ago. I enjoyed taking pictures of flowers, bugs, animals, still life objects, but didn't get too much into portrait photography. I was too socially awkward, or maybe I didn't think I was good enough to do it. Whatever the reason was, I mostly kept my work with inanimate objects, or living things that couldn't judge how my work turned out.

Time Apart
It's literally been a day. One whole day, two nights. With six more to go. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you. Traveling is something you've always liked to do, and it's only thanks to me that you found your love for the ocean in the first place, so I truly only have myself to blame that you took the opportunity to go on this trip at all.

Crafting In The Name of Love
I've never really been much for arts and crafts, if I'm being honest. I never had the ideas, and if I did, I could never bring them to life. I was too busy or got too frustrated to ever stick to anything long enough to bring it into existence. I had friends who had Cricut machines and made tons of things by hand that ended up looking beautiful and helped them bring in extra cash. I was always envious and wished I could figure out something for myself to profit off of. I tried painting, I tried making bracelets, I tried refurbishing old furniture, but none of it stuck.

Unconditional
I was born, my mother's first child, her first daughter. A child she most likely had dreamt of a life for. A white wedding dress, a beautiful young woman becoming a mother herself. However, what she ended up with was a son. Twenty-one years of raising and shaping a young woman, torn to shreds in an instant. All her dreams she had for me were erased. The name tattooed on her arm next to my sisters', irrelevant in one sentence. "I want to be a man."
