1. When he was 5-months-old, his hands reached for the toy above him. The whale spinning around seemed to fascinate him, but not as much as the puffy yellow star right next to it. He giggled with glee as “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” played along with the moving carousel.

Arrogance is Deadly
Online relationships can be a blessing or a curse; then again so can any relationship. My feud with Thomas was a confusing one. One moment he meant the world to me and the next I was questioning if I should be talking to him. The second year of our friendship wasn't much different than the first, the only difference was a guy named Kenneth.

My Letter to You
August 23, 2018 To who I once knew, It’s been so long since we’ve talked. I’ve been doing good but at times I wish you were still in my life. Our relationship wasn’t perfect, that’s a fact, but it was special to me. I thought you felt the same. Maybe at one point you did. I’ve thought a lot about you since you left, but that was two years ago. Please tell me you feel it too, that yearning sensation for my presence. I’m probably just fantasizing.

My Heart Aches
August 29, 2018 To who I once knew, I heard a song that reminded me of you. The lyrics said you regret hurting me, but those aren’t your words. You did dedicate it to me, in a way, I remember. It was mostly for her though. The one I could, and would, never amount to. She was perfect for you. It was stupid of me to believe that I could live up to your expectations.

My Only Friend
The case, from the start, sent me into a spiral of anxiety and depression and it led me to have online relationships. It was a safe haven from reality. No one knew who I was and a plethora of people were going through issues just as I was. Our issues weren't always the same, but we shared the feeling of being alone. The friendships never lasted long though. Some lasted days, others months, and one particular one, two years and a half. The particular one is definitely the hardest to speak of because it was one of the most important relationships I had.
