Steve Guttenberg - Philosopher of Positivity For Our End Times?
A voice reaches my ear from across the room. Some guy is doing positive-speak or something. Affirmations? A guided meditation? I can’t tell.

Women Know Hockey, Stop Pretending They Don't
Gather 'round, readers! Today is International Women's Day, and I have a story to tell. In 2014, I watched and followed the hockey games from that year's Winter Olympics. I watched the US men's team reach the semifinals of the tournament, which are the medal rounds. We faced Canada. We lost to Canada, because of course we do. So we had to play for Bronze. We faced off against Finland. Finland beat us like we stole something. A 6-0 loss in the Bronze Medal Game, while Canada defeated Sweden to get the Gold.

I'll wait until everyone finishes groaning... There is a massive double-standard when it comes to female celebrities, especially in music. They're called bad parents for being on the road too much, only for fans to complain when they take time off touring to focus on having or caring for children. They're told to speak up about important topics, only to get shouted down when they do.
Natasja RosePublished 10 days ago in VivaWhat Else Will We See From WWE's Women's Division at WrestleMania 40?
Amazing. This year will celebrate 40 years of WrestleMania. The Grandest Stage of Them All; the WWE's equivalent of the Super Bowl and the Stanley Cup. This year is a milestone. Four decades. To think, an event that took place on March 31, 1985 at Madison Square Garden would evolve and become the biggest stage in all of professional wrestling. Just absolutely epic.

Timothy A RowlandPublished 2 months ago in VivaA Look at a Very Elegant Debut at TNA's "Hard to Kill" Event
Wrestling fans witnessed a landmark moment on Saturday, January 13, 2024. The Hard to Kill event marked the return of TNA Wrestling after seven years of being known as Impact Wrestling, with the TNA name's return being announced months prior at Bound For Glory. The event was quite big for TNA's Knockouts Division. For one, the main show kicked off with the Knockouts Ultimate X match, which was won by Gisele Shaw. I saw this coming; Gisele had been gaining a lot of good elevation in the last year. 2023 was good to Gisele, and I had a feeling that 2024 would see that elevation continue to improve.

2024 is upon us, and when a new year closes in, it turns the wheels in the heads of many wrestling fans, myself especially. The New Year predictions usually come in the following categories: new champions, pushes, main roster callups (WWE), the dreaded releases, and the subject of this story, turns. Who's turning face? Who's turning heel? Who needs either change more? So many fans rack their brains figuring out which hero will turn to the dark side, or which villain will see the light. And yes, I'm one of those many fans concocting such predictions, especially in women's wrestling.

Is Personal Agency Only for the Young?
I am angry. This week I was Threading through Threads and came across a post from a woman that said, among other things: "How can I make my mother stop coloring her hair and just go grey? She's 62 and not fooling anyone; she and her friends are old and it's time that she acts her age."
Judey KalchikPublished 4 months ago in Viva A Look at Lena Yada's Brief and Interesting WWE Run
First off, Happy Thanksgiving! So while I was on YouTube, I found something that just absolutely surprised me and warmed my heart: Ring The Belle, a YouTube page that features various interviews from many stars of women's wrestling, featured quite a surprising guest in the form of Lena Yada. DS Shin, the host of the Ring The Belle interviews, is just amazing; he always brings it and gets pretty much everyone from the world of women's wrestling, so I really shouldn't have been surprised when he managed to get an interview with Lena Yada, who I am still a huge fan of.
