A Work of Art
As Tamara washed her hands, she closed her eyes, so she would not see herself in the lavatory mirrors. It's not that bad, she thought. You always make more of it than you should. Just look, damn it. You're not a little girl anymore.

The Gemini Enigma
I am a Gemini. One of the most hated signs of the zodiac. Time and time again, I have encountered multiple skeptics on my supposed trustworthiness. Apparently I am a snake, and my personality will morph itself into a demonic entity the minute I let "Gemini" slip past my tongue. My outward behavior is automatically put in a high court of the zodiac rule, and I am most likely going to be found guilty of all charges. It's pretty brutal, I'll say that!
Kyra LopezPublished 3 years ago in Viva How to Choose the Right Bra for You
Whether you like bras or not, you probably wore one at some point in your life. But have you ever felt like it was really uncomfortable? Did you want to take it off as soon as possible after wearing it for the day?
Elena AthonPublished 3 years ago in VivaTime Apart
It's literally been a day. One whole day, two nights. With six more to go. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you. Traveling is something you've always liked to do, and it's only thanks to me that you found your love for the ocean in the first place, so I truly only have myself to blame that you took the opportunity to go on this trip at all.
Drayk StahlPublished 3 years ago in VivaDo we still need Feminist Sociology?
TW: R*pe and FGM It has been over a century since Emily Wilding Davison jumped in front of King George V’s horse at Epsom Derby in 1913. A woman so passionate about gender equality that she gave up her life for the cause. Since then, women’s rights have dramatically improved. From being able to vote to control over family planning, equality during a divorce settlement to the right to an education, women across the globe are slowly but surely becoming more empowered by the day. In this essay I will discuss why feminist sociology is still needed in today’s society, most specifically centred around the taboo subject of rape.
4 Feminist Icons on Television
“What’s the trick to writing a great female character? Make her human.” – Nicole Holofcener, film writer Through decades of television, we've watched women grow from props and artwork to superheroes and storymakers. Writers are increasingly conscious of creating complex feminine characters with their own agency.

Raghad KhaledPublished 3 years ago in VivaIf I Could Be ..
You remember back in high school when teachers told us to imagine or write about where we plan to be in 5, 10, and 20 years? I always struggled with that assignment. I struggled then and I’m struggling now.
Destani DapontePublished 3 years ago in VivaI Went A Week Without Wearing A Bra
I have something to get off my chest, and one of those things is my bra. I did a piece similar to this where I talked about when I went 27 days without shaving. I've been slowly changing my ways as a woman to not follow what has been drilled into me to do in my evolution as a woman. After stopping the stress of shaving, knowing it wouldn't change how I look. The second embedded habit I wanted to test was how it would affect me physically and mentally not wearing a bra.

1.Covid Vaccination Card: Yep, I am vaccinated and although as of the date of this Blog I am not technically "fully" vaccinated, I will be come this Friday. I had previously posted about my experience via video in my Instagram Stories (married.n.mommin) but overall so far so good. The vaccine process was more nerve wrecking than anything because of how everyone made me freak out about side effects but ultimately having a large family played a big part in the decision. While facing backlash on Tiktok (Tionnaunscripted) it is what it is and as I said in a recent video, it is ultimately your choice but when I am asked why I did it - I have an answer meanwhile.. I have asked several "anti-covid vaccine people" and have yet to receive an answer other than, I don't want to.. I respect it.. *snickers*.

Raquel: The Girl, the Legend to Me Part One: The Svelte Chic In third grade with Miss Hinklebury, I met Raquel. She was truly beautiful. She wore an awesome top knot side ponytail every day in her extra long, flowing blondish locks which toppled her head to the side sometimes when she was trying to write or do math at her desk. The teacher actually out loud suggested one day that she change her hairdo- that it might help her concentrate. But, I never minded Raquel's simplicity or lack of attention in in class. I would sit nearby and watch her, with her big florescent, bangle earrings, zoning off.
