Suffering and Serendipity
I left my hotel in Bodrum, Turkey, in the early hours of the morning on the 12th of July, 2019. I couldn't sleep, so I got dressed and stepped out into the dark city. I wandered the empty streets in the quiet zone between the bars closing and early morning shops opening. I walked through the back streets and trekked up the hillside to the ruins carved into the rock. My experience has often been that a peaceful mind is easier to find in a deserted place that is usually full of people.

'Assassin's Creed Odyssey': Irritating Flaws and Petty Complaints
For over a decade, Assassin's Creed has been an escapist fantasy of silent violence and bloody intrigue. After a yearlong hiatus, they produced Origins, an extraordinary re-imagining of the formula and built a brilliant new phase for the series. Odyssey has continued this rebirth and succeeds in most areas. Unfortunately, Odyssey is also a regressive performance in a number of ways. These failings are detailed below.

'Assassin's Creed: Odyssey' and the Perils of Copy-and-Paste Syndrome
Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is named in homage to the Homeric Masterpiece. However, an homage to some is plagiarism to others. The name also stands as a warning sign to players that Ubisoft may have pilfered ideas from more than an old poet.

'The Witcher' Wishlist: 5 Actors Perfect for the Netflix Series
The Witcher: Wild Hunt video game was a transformative experience in my gaming life. It was the swallow I needed to heal my distaste for role playing games. I used to look down at RPG's as big fanciful rubbish. I even shunned Skyrim, the granddaddy all-father of RPG’s.

'Small Town Murder': The True Crime Comedy Podcast PhenomenonTop Story - October 2018
The Premise Murder can't be funny, can it? These two a**holes disagree and prove that a horrible story can be told with wit and levity whilst still respecting the victims. The comedy flows from the surreal madness of tiny towns, bungling police forces and most of all EVIL MURDERERS who deserve to be taken down a peg or nine.

5 Marvel Women Who NEED Their Own Movie or Netflix Series
I am straight, white, cis dude and even I am getting fatigued by the seemingly endless procession of super hero movies led by straight, white, cis dudes (no matter how good some may be). The women of Marvel are overflowing with potential yet are endlessly stuck in the role of male-hero-supporter. This dynamic stifles the potential of these awesome characters. Marvel must free them from the shackles that bind them to the exploits of the men and let them lead their own stories.

My First Ever Walkout: 'Ant-Man and the Wasp'
(Spoiler Alert) I walked out of Ant-Man and the Wasp. I've never walked out of a film before. I'm so surprised at myself I had to write an article to process what I experienced and why I had to leave. The following factors made up the foundation of the film and they grated on me constantly to the extent that I decided to leave.

Dr. Frances-White: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Feminists
The final removal of the gold painted veneer from the rusted, pervert behemoth of Hollywood is a good thing for everyone. However, the path forward is not all crystal-clear waters and plain sailing.
