As a Woman/Young Lady Part 1

As a woman I feel like men should show more affection towards us. They always say we are emotional creatures, but in all honestly most of the time they treat us like everybody else. Rude, entitled, and insensitive to our feelings. As a woman I feel like I should be able to walk through a group of guys without being catcalled and/or touched (ass, hand, or shoulder). Sir I’m just minding my business.

As a woman I should be able to feel like a boss bitch, if I please. No I am not being an ass, because I think things should be done a certain way, and I speak up about it now–you’re mad. But if it was a man it would be, “Oh he was just doing his job, he’s just being a boss.”

As women and young ladies we should be able to wear what we want, and not get penalized for it. If it’s cute, wear it, just know what crowd/attention you’re gonna bring.

As women learn to uplift one another; be excited for a close friend, or even a friend of a friend. Think like, oh, she got a new job. That's awesome; that means my blessing is getting closer. No need to be jealous, or be competitive, because young ladies see it, and follow in the same footsteps, and have the same type of attitude.

As a woman I should be able to be friends with who I please. I don’t care if my other friends don’t like her, ok, and? If we don’t talk about them and genuinely have a bond, then why should they care?

As a woman, if I want to put on makeup I’ll do that, don’t tell me that I put too much on, because you can honestly shut the fuck up. This is my face and I’ll put whatever, and however much, I want to put on it.

As a young lady please stop chasing these dirty little boys. They will hurt you so much; you’ll hate yourself. Education is key, and is all you need.

These are just some of the things I think as women/young ladies we should be able to do without being criticized for it. Ladies we are the strongest humans on the planet. We gotta start acting like it. We need to unite instead of being rude to one another. We need to teach the next generation better than what we knew. Open those small minds to the big world. Step out of your comfort. Meet new girlfriends, travel, start a blog, just be a better positive you.
