Having portrayed a powerful woman who isn't afraid to face any danger in her path, Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot offered young girls and women hope for a future in which women aren't treated as any less than a man. After her role as Diana Prince in the massively successful film, the Israeli-born actress amassed millions of fans.

Gadot has proven to be a strong advocate for women, which is why her recent post on Instagram is so inspiring. The Wonder Woman star offered words of encouragement to women dealing with harassment and violence, and made her stance clear:

"Bullying and sexual harassment is unacceptable. I stand by all the courageous women confronting their fears and speaking out. Together we stand. We are all united in this time of change."

Gadot's condemnation speaks volumes to those who consider her a role model and for those women who have struggled with the aftereffects of physical or emotional trauma. This isn't the first time the actress has spoken about the need for change.

Gadot also stood behind Patty Jenkins as the director negotiated her pay in the Wonder Woman sequel. (After three months, Jenkins received a pay bump that will make her the highest-paid female filmmaker, ever.) Here's what Gadot had to say at the time:

“She is definitely paving the way for so many other female directors. I think it was very important that she fought to get the best deal. You got to walk the walk and talk the talk.”

In a tweet, Gadot told Jenkins she was "paving the right way for so many to come."

And, on August 26th, Women's Equality Day, Gadot shared a strong but succinct message for women:

With just a few words, Gal Gadot has proven, once again, that she is a wonder woman even without the costume, and has lent her strength to others. The actress will pick up her sword again in the upcoming movie, Justice League, which hits theaters on November 17.
